3 steps to your workation request
Make sure you have the company-unique request form shared by your People Team.
Complete the form with all the required information. Check out the additional information both on the form (indicated by a ? sign) and further down in this article.
And Done! You will receive a confirmation email of your submission from Localyze.
Your request will now be forwarded to your People team to approve your request for a risk evaluation by Localyze.
After the risk evaluation is completed, your people team will decide how to proceed and inform you about the next steps. We will inform you via email about every step of the process.
Why does Localyze ask for the details on the form?
The workation request is a 4-step form that collects your personal information as well as trip-related information. This is important for our experts to be able to evaluate your personal and very individual situation with regard to tax, legal, immigration and social security risks.
Step 1: Personal information - this helps us understand where you are registered to pay taxes and social security, as well as your right-to-work situation.
Step 2: Employment information - this information is needed to assess the risks associated with working in your workation destination.
Step 3: Health insurance - this is relevant for the evaluation of your social security risks.
Step 4: Trip information - information like the duration, destination country and more are decisive parameters for all criteria of the risk evaluation (immigration, permanent establishment risk, social security,..).
