Our pet is from the EU

Then you can transport the pet to Poland without any restrictions. Remember to check the usual vaccines that the pet has to have in Poland and make sure you complete them upon your arrival.

Your pet is not from the EU

Non-commercial movement of pets

If you relocate pets because you change countries and you do it for your private and non-commercial reason, you can transport maximum of 5 pets. You can travel with dogs, cats or ferrets.

Individual identification system and vaccination

Dogs, cats and ferrets must bear a transponder (an electronic identification system) or a clearly readable tattoo. Your pet also has to have an anti-rabies vaccine. Vaccination against rabies made on the unmarked animal is invalid.

Health certificate

Dogs, cats and ferrets must be accompanied by a health certificate issued by an official veterinarian or veterinarian authorized by the competent authority.
