Anabin is an online database that lists all foreign universities and university degrees that are already accredited by the ZAB (Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen) in Germany.
If you have a German university degree or no degree at all, you do not have to provide the Anabin certificate (or the ZAB certificate for that matter).
If you cannot find your degree or institution in Anabin, an individual approval called the 'ZAB Statement of Comparability (or simply, ‘ZAB’) may be necessary.
