Making appointments with the embassy or visa application center is generally free and can be done yourself.

Every Spanish embassy/consulate has a different website address, price for the application, and processing time.

The one nearest can be easily found, as stated below:

General Instructions:

  • Log in to the general website.

  • Find the country you need the appointment in

  • Consulate or Embassy you need the appointment for

  • Submit the appointment details (personal information)

Visa you are applying for (example: Work Visa)

⚠️ Note: At many embassies one can only ask for a visa appointment if you have the work permit. Other embassies will let you book the appointment before, however, it is essential to attend the appointment with the work permit.

If you are having trouble viewing the visa booking appointment section for the consulate/embassy nearest you, you will usually find a telephone number and email address under contact information (this is usually found under the "consulado" tab under "horarios y calendario" or "localización y contacto").

At times the links are moved around the webpages, if you are still having trouble finding the link to book appointments, please let your case manager know, they will help you.

Note: Please bear in mind that this will be part of your To-Do List/Steps when going through the process. It will then be explained again.
